                   Organization Policy

Introduction & Organisational Commitment

HoneySpree Co. Ltd ("HoneySpree") is a gifting company operating across Thailand. We are committed to building an inclusive, equitable, and respectful workplace in which every individual, regardless of gender, is valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

This policy sets out HoneySpree's commitments and practices across leadership representation, equal opportunity, parental leave, workplace safety, supplier diversity, and community engagement. It applies to all employees, contractors, and business partners across our Thailand operations.

2. Leadership & Board Representation

HoneySpree believes that diverse leadership is fundamental to sound decision-making and sustainable business growth. We are proud to report the following representation:

2.1 Board Composition

Women comprise 100% of HoneySpree's Board of Directors. We are committed to maintaining strong female representation at the highest level of governance and to reviewing board composition annually to ensure this commitment endures.

2.2 Leadership Positions (C-Suite & Managing Directors)

Women hold 100% of HoneySpree's senior leadership positions, including all C-suite and equivalent director-level roles. We recognise this as a responsibility and a standard to uphold, not merely a statistic.

2.3 Management Positions (All Levels)

Women represent 100% of managers across all levels of the organisation. HoneySpree is committed to sustaining this representation through equitable promotion practices, structured mentorship, and transparent career progression frameworks.

3. Gender Equality Action Plan

HoneySpree has made both internal and public commitments to gender equality and is implementing a structured, ongoing programme of activities. Our approach includes:

  • A formal internal written commitment to gender equality embedded in our HR policies and onboarding materials.

  • A public commitment to gender equality communicated through our company channels and partnership disclosures.

  • Ongoing and structured activities including awareness sessions, policy reviews, and cross-team initiatives (not one-off events).

  • A gender equality strategy with defined timelines, KPIs, and targets, monitored and reported on regularly.

Progress against our gender equality commitments is reviewed semi-annually by senior leadership. Reporting covers workforce composition, pay equity indicators, training participation rates, and grievance outcomes, disaggregated by gender.

4. Equal Opportunity in Employment Practices

HoneySpree is committed to eliminating gender bias across all key employment processes. We have established formal criteria for the following:

4.1 Selection & Interview

All job advertisements use gender-neutral language. Interview panels are trained to apply structured, objective scoring criteria. Where feasible, diverse panels are used to reduce unconscious bias.

4.2 Hiring

Hiring decisions are made on the basis of skills, experience, and cultural contribution. Salary offers are benchmarked against internal pay bands to prevent gender pay gaps from forming at the point of hire.

4.3 Retention

HoneySpree conducts stay interviews and exit surveys to understand and address barriers to retention, with findings disaggregated by gender and reported to leadership.

4.4 Promotion

Promotion criteria are documented and applied consistently. Promotion rates are tracked by gender on an annual basis. Employees returning from parental leave are not disadvantaged in promotion cycles.

4.5 Training & Development

Training participation rates are tracked by gender. All employees have equal access to learning and development opportunities, including leadership development programmes.

5. Parental Leave

HoneySpree provides paid parental leave to all eligible employees, meeting or exceeding the requirements of applicable national legislation in Thailand.

5.1 Maternity Leave

HoneySpree provides a minimum of 30 days of fully paid maternity leave to all eligible employees. This meets and in several contexts exceeds national regulatory requirements. We support phased return-to-work arrangements and protect employees on maternity leave from disadvantage in performance reviews or promotion decisions.

5.2 Paternity Leave

HoneySpree provides a minimum of 30 days of fully paid paternity leave to all eligible employees. This benefit is actively communicated and encouraged, as we recognise that shared caregiving responsibilities are essential to genuine gender equality at work and at home.

Both maternity and paternity leave entitlements are reviewed annually and updated in line with evolving legislative requirements and best practice.

6. Work-Life Balance & Employee Wellbeing

HoneySpree has a formal approach to supporting the work-life balance of all employees, including parents and caregivers. Our approach includes:

  • Flexible working arrangements (including adjusted hours and hybrid work where roles permit) available to employees with caregiving responsibilities.

  • Dedicated support for employees returning from parental leave, including structured check-ins and adjusted workload onboarding periods.

  • Access to employee assistance resources to support mental health and personal wellbeing.

  • Clear policies against out-of-hours contact expectations that disproportionately affect caregivers.

These provisions apply equally to all genders. HoneySpree reviews its flexible working policies annually to ensure they remain accessible and equitable.

7. Supplier Diversity & Gender-Responsive Procurement

HoneySpree is committed to using its procurement influence to advance gender equality across its supply chain. We actively take steps to:

  • Increase procurement from women-owned and women-led businesses. We apply the IFC definition: businesses that are at least 51% owned by women, or at least 20% owned by women with a woman in a senior executive role and at least 30% women on the board.

  • Assess and prefer suppliers that demonstrate good performance on gender equality, including fair pay practices, equitable hiring, and safe working environments.

  • Encourage all suppliers to adopt gender equality commitments through our supplier onboarding process and contractual expectations.

Our current flagship example is our sourcing relationship with women-owned honey producers in Thailand. HoneySpree actively supports these suppliers through technical assistance and preferential procurement consideration.

We are committed to expanding our inclusive procurement practices over time, including to businesses owned and operated by people from other underrepresented groups, including those with disabilities and those from ethnic minority backgrounds.

8. Responsible Marketing & Advertising

HoneySpree recognises that marketing and advertising have significant influence on social norms around gender. We are committed to responsible marketing that challenges, rather than reinforces, harmful gender stereotypes.

Our approach includes:

  • All marketing materials, including job advertisements, are reviewed prior to publication for gender-neutral language and freedom from stereotyping.

  • Creative content portrays women and men in diverse, realistic roles and avoids reductive or objectifying representations.

  • Our marketing review process is embedded in our broader brand guidelines and is applied consistently across our Singapore and Thailand operations.

HoneySpree is working towards a stand-alone responsible marketing policy that addresses gender portrayal and is subject to continuous review.

9. Safe, Respectful & Inclusive Workplace

HoneySpree has zero tolerance for violence, harassment, sexual exploitation, and any form of discrimination in the workplace. Our approach includes:

  • A stand-alone workplace safety and anti-harassment policy, covering all forms of violence, harassment, and sexual exploitation, applicable to all employees, contractors, and visitors.

  • A confidential grievance mechanism enabling employees to raise concerns without fear of retaliation. All complaints are handled with strict confidentiality and resolved through a documented, fair process.

  • Annual training for all staff at all levels on workplace safety, gender equality, and the identification and reporting of harassment.

  • Tracking and monitoring of grievances related to workplace violence, harassment, and sexual exploitation, disaggregated by type and outcome.

  • Regular reporting to senior leadership on the number of grievances received, actions taken, and outcomes, with continuous improvement actions identified.

Employees who are victims of domestic violence are supported with confidential assistance and, where appropriate, adjustments to working arrangements.

10. Health, Safety & Hygiene

HoneySpree is committed to ensuring the physical health, safety, and wellbeing of all employees, with particular attention to the specific needs of women in the workplace.

Our provisions include:

  • Safe, clean, and gender-segregated sanitation facilities at all operating sites.

  • Health and safety incident tracking disaggregated by gender, reviewed quarterly.

Our health and safety framework is reviewed annually in line with applicable national legislation and international best practice.

11. Community Engagement & Women's Empowerment

HoneySpree believes that our responsibility to gender equality extends beyond our own organisation. We actively promote awareness of and invest in programmes that advance women's empowerment in the communities where we operate.

Our community commitments include:

  • Supporting awareness-raising initiatives around gender equality through participation in forums, industry events, and published communications.

  • Investing financial and material resources in CSR programmes that directly support women's economic participation and empowerment, with a focus on Thai communities connected to our honey supply chain.

  • Sharing our practices and learnings with peer businesses and industry bodies to contribute to broader sectoral progress on gender equality.

12. Policy Review & Accountability

This policy is owned by senior leadership and reviewed annually. Updates are communicated to all employees and reflected in HR onboarding documentation.

Accountability for the implementation of this policy rests with HoneySpree's leadership team. Progress against commitments is reported to the Board on a semi-annual basis.

Employees who have questions about this policy or wish to raise a concern are encouraged to contact the HR function through our confidential grievance channel.
